Welcome to the SpiceOLife Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels web site and thanks for visiting! We are Jean Bjork McAloon and Timothy J. McAloon. We are located in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We created this site to showcase our goldens and cavaliers. We actively show in conformation and performance events.Our first performance dog, a golden, SpiceOLife Cassandra UD (Cassie) was first shown in obedience in 1991. Our second golden, Kanosak's Gold Nikolai CDX (Nik) was shown in obedience and conformation. From there we acquired other goldens who have excelled in performance events and conformation.
Our first cavalier, Dehra Holly of SpiceOLife CD (Holly) was acquired in 1996. We were able to owner/handle two of her offspring and two of her grandchildren to their Championships.
We also work with Golden Retriever Rescue and have fostered many goldens to help get them to their forever home.
We only breed when we are interested in keeping a puppy for ourselves to pursue our hobby and only dogs who have received their clearances. Puppies going to pet homes are required to be spayed and neutered.
